Registration and Fees

There is an annual registration fee, payable once a year. All children must be registered and scheduled into the Center. Once the child is registered and has all the paperwork on file, the parent may call ahead to schedule additional time.

The registration fee is good for one year from August to August. If you register in a month other than August, your registration fee will be due again the following August.

The registration fee is:
$10.00 for one child
$15.00 for two children of one family
$20.00 for three children of one family

Hourly and Weekly Fees for child care: 
Parents pay  $2.25 per hour for each child. The weekly fee for children who are in the Center 40 hours or more is $80.00 per week.

The Preschool at Edison Fees:
Parents pay $100.00 per month for the preschool program. The preschool program and child care program run simultaneously. Payments must be made at the Cashier's window located in Student services.

The Child Development Center will not accept money.

We have contracts with Department of Human Services in Miami, Shelby, Champaign and Logan Counties for publicly funded child care. Parents who qualify for this service or who wish to explore this option should contact Cheryl Buecker or Natalee Heath for information. Authorization from the county human services office must be on file before the parent may charge their care.
