Performance?
Theater Performance deals
with many aspects of the dramatic arts. Actors, producers,
and directors express ideas and create images in theater, film,
radio, television, and other performing arts media. They
interpret a writer's script to entertain, inform, or instruct an
audience. Although the most famous actors, producers, and
directors work in film, network television, or theater in New
York or Los Angeles, far more work in local or regional
television studios, theaters, or film production companies
engaged in advertising, public relations, or independent,
small-scale movie productions.
Theater Performance Degree

degree with an emphasis in Theater Performance is designed for
the student interested in transferring to a four-year program in
theater or the liberal arts. The degree in theater
performance is a solid preparation for the student interested in

directing, stage management or all levels of theater education.

options.

directing, and rehearsal and performance, in conjunction with
campus and community theater productions, provide the student
with opportunities to practice and hone skills acquired in the
classroom.
