High School Students
The privilege of early admission may be granted to high school students who have demonstrated appropriate ability or special talent. They also must be recommended in writing by a high school official. These special students can enroll for a maximum of nine (9) credit hours of course work in any academic semester and a maximum of six (6) credit hours in a summer session. The earned college credits are held in "escrow" until the students complete their high school programs. Contact the Edison Admissions Office for additional information.

Post-Secondary Enrollment Options Program
Eligible high school students who elect to participate in the Post-Secondary Enrollment Options Program (PSEOP) and who meet the admissions criteria as outlined by the Ohio Board of Regents, and Edison Community College may attend Edison.  Students will be required to submit an application for admission to the program and a high school transcript.  Students may participate in a skills assessment and an orientation.  Contact a high school counselor of the Edison Admissions office for additional information.

Transfer Students
An applicant who has entered any other college(s) must have official* grade transcripts from each college attended sent to the Enrollment Services Office immediately upon making application.  It is the student's responsibility to have transcripts sent to Edison. For additional information on academic probation, suspension and admission, please refer to the Edison Community College catalog.

*Official transcripts are those certified and mailed by the issuing institution directly to Edison Community College.

Financial aid students also are required to have financial aid transcripts sent to Edison's Office of Student Financial Aid. Financial aid transcripts are required from all colleges attended, whether or not the student received aid. Other required forms are listed on the Financial Aid Office: Policy and Procedure Form available in the Office of Student Financial Aid. Other Financial Aid information.

Transient Student Status
Transient students who regularly attend another college are welcome to apply for admission and enroll at Edison for additional credits.  The home college should be consulted on course selections to insure the courses satisfy program requirements.

Additional information and an International Student Loan Application may be obtained from the Edison Admissions Office.
