Recommended Preparation

If you are planning to attend Edison Community College you should follow the college preparatory curriculum in high school. The Ohio Board of Regents and the Ohio Board of Education recommend that your curriculum include four years of English, three years of math, three years of science, three years of social studies, and two years of foreign language.

Edison instructor and studentIf you have not completed the recommended course work in high school you may take courses at Edison to meet the prescribed level of preparation, if needed.

The Admissions Office in North Hall Room 020 assists first time students at Edison Community College. You should make an appointment with an admissions advisor, who will provide you with the most up-to-date information on educational programs and opportunities.

During the regular school year the Admissions Office is open 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Friday; and 8 a.m. - 12 noon Saturday. Summer hours vary.
