| When and how should I
request services?
As soon as you decide to enroll at Edison,
you should make contact with the coordinator for students with
special needs. Make an appointment through the Admissions
Office (Student Services, North Hall Room 160, extension 7850.) Every semester you are enrolled, you need to make contact
at least two weeks prior to start of classes.
During this appointment we will discuss
the documentation you need and the kinds of accommodations that
have been helpful for you in your previous academic
experience. Providing appropriate services and equipment
requires time; therefore, the earlier we start the process, the
more likely we are to have a system in place on the first day of
your class or classes. |
