We believe in your success at Edison
Community College! That is why Edison is committed to providing
for the needs of enrolled students who have disabilities under
section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and The Americans
with Disabilities Act of 1990. These include physical, mental
and learning disabilities.
Services
Services are available for any student, who,
through a recent assessment, can document a disability and who
requires accommodation. Personal assistance is available,
including:

Advocacy services with instructors, the
learning center, and community agencies
Process

Make an appointment with
the Disabilities Support Coordinator by calling 937-778-7868
or emailing
aselhorst@edisonohio.edu . You are encouraged to
do this at least three weeks before the beginning of
classes.

Provide documentation of the disability.
This can be discussed with the Coordinator during the
appointment.

Discus and arrange accommodations that
would be helpful for you.
