Career Education Programs

Occupational and technical programs at Edison prepare you for a career in business, engineering, health or public service. These programs also serve you if you are seeking formal training toward advancement in your current employment.

Edison's career education programs have been developed to provide you with the job skills area employers are seeking. Many business, industrial and organizational leaders from the region serve on academic advisory committees to help guide the creation, development and ongoing revision of these programs.

Career education programs are designed to prepare you for employment directly upon graduation. While not designed for transfer, many career education programs can be transferred, however credits accepted will vary according to the program and the policies of the receiving institution.

To transfer in one of these programs, you should work very closely with your advisor and an advisor at the receiving institution. It is possible that not all credits will transfer and that you may need to take additional general education courses.
