Two-Year Degrees

Associate of Technical Study (ATS) - 60 to 72 semester hours

The Associate of Technical Study (ATS) degree program is open to any student whose educational goals cannot be accomplished through an existing program. If you have a specialized technical interest, the ATS program allows you to develop - with the guidance of an academic advisor - an individualized technical program. Your program must have an educational goal and include a specific listing of courses required to accomplish that goal.

A minimum of 30 semester hours, or 50% of your total program, must be in a clearly identifiable area of concentration. This technical component may be developed from more than one academic discipline. General studies and related courses must each account for a minimum of 15 semester hours.

Special application requirements must be met, including review and approval by the ATS Review Committee.
