Industrial Operations
Students in the Industrial Operations option learn the fundamentals
of operations management, environmental health and safety, quality
management systems, supervision, human relations, and problem
solving. Advanced courses in lean manufacturing and Six Sigma
provide the student with the latest in operations and quality
programs. This program option culminates in a project during
which the students demonstrate their breadth of industrial
operations knowledge. Students may seek lean manufacturing
certification or a Six Sigma green belt with projects conducted at
local manufacturing facilities. |
