It's All About You! 

EACH employee, faculty, adjunct faculty, administrative and classified, now has the ability to report and monitor their own work orders and AV equipment requests on a 24/7 basis either on campus using their Edison User ID and password,  or by logging into Terminal Services and then accessing the Edison web site http://www.edisonohio.edu employee page.  You may use one of three options to issue an IT Work Order: 

  • Self-Service notification using the Web Browser
  • Email the Helpdesk at
  • Phone 711 or 937-778-7957 Help Desk
    (7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Mon-Thurs)
    •  The Help Desk in the library will be open from 8:00 a.m. -8:00 p.m.

Track-It! now has a built in notification feature, sending your request immediately to a technician, responding back to the end-user with an email confirmation and issuing a work order number enabling you to track the status of your work order, add to the work order without opening another, check on the progress and acquire feedback on the problem. 

 

 

Need immediate help AFTER HOURS?

SELF-SERVICE and EMAIL NOTIFICATION are the preferred methods.  Both are immediate and precise in notifying the technicians.  It is precise because the work orders are created by you and are sent directly to the Technician on Call who will respond to your needs. After 5:00 PM you can also report your work orders to the Receptionist by dialing “O”.  Be descriptive; identify all computers (Room or Lab number) and the emergency.  The Receptionist will report the emergency to the technician ON CALL via email.  The technician will respond to your needs and be responsible for logging the work order in TrackIt!
