Head Volleyball Coach
Position Class Code A0110
Edison Community
College seeks a Head Women's Volleyball Coach responsible to develop
and maintain a competitive volleyball program within the National
Junior College Athletic Association’s Region XII and Ohio Community
College Athletic Conference. The Head Coach has primary
responsibility for recruiting eligible student-athletes,
particularly local athletes; providing instruction in the
fundamentals of competitive volleyball to help student-athletes
improve their athletic skills; and supporting the importance of
academic effort to help student-athletes achieve their educational
goals. This position reports directly to the Athletic Director.
Associate’s
degree required, bachelor’s degree preferred, along with three to
five years of coaching experience. Collegiate playing experience is
a plus. The successful candidate must have a belief in the holistic
development of students and have the ability to operate effectively
within a values-based collegiate environment. Candidates
must have a strong commitment to academic and athletic success, with
a demonstrated ability to identify and recruit student-athletes, a
proven record of outstanding leadership, and strong organizational
skills.
Base
salary is $7,500 to be paid during the volleyball season. This

Environmental Services Technician
Position Class Code C0110
Edison Community College is
seeking applicants for an Environmental Services Technician. This is
a third shift position (Tuesday through Saturday). This position
requires the ability to lift 50 lbs., a valid driver’s license, and
the capability to work well with the public. Knowledge of methods
commonly used in cleaning offices, meeting rooms, and restrooms is
desirable.
