Plastics Manufacturing

Students in the Plastics Manufacturing option learn plastic processing, testing, and machine operation and control concepts and procedures.  An understanding of plastics materials, processing methods, plastics testing procedures, safety practices, and troubleshooting approaches are emphasized.

The associate degree option in Plastics Manufacturing prepares you for a basic understanding of plastics materials, procession methods, and testing procedures. 

The program is offered during the day and evening and is designed to accommodate students who are employed full time.

As a technician, you can begin a career in:

  • processing
  • quality engineering
  • research and development
