Choose Ohio First Scholarships

Edison Community College will offer approximately 35 scholarships ($1500 minimum per scholarship, per academic year) beginning Fall 2009 to new Edison students pursuing majors in one of many identified programs in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Medicine (STEMM) as part of the state of Ohio’s Choose Ohio First scholarship program. Scholarships are renewable.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements Include:

Achievement of a 3.0 or higher high school or college Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA)
Residence in the state of Ohio
Achievement of a high school diploma or equivalent
Declaration of a STEMM major through Edison Community College in an associate’s degree program
Completion of 2009/10 Academic Scholarship application and all Application Procedures
Participation in a “Learning-by-Doing” Experience
