10-Hour Sales
Post-Licensure Course

RLE 250S Real Estate Sales course explores the principles, practices, laws, and regulations pertinent to the new salesperson in today's marketplace.  The one credit hour course is designed for Real Estate sales people within their first year of licensure and is approved by the Ohio Real Estate Commission to meet the requirements set forth in Section 4735.09(G) of the Revised Code, 10-hour sales post-licensure course.

Throughout the course, students will:

  1. Reinforce understanding of the contemporary Real Estate market, buyers, and sellers.

  2. Define the agency relationship between brokers, sales-persons, and clients.

  3. Analyze the legal liabilities concerning licensure, transactions, antitrust and fair housing issues.

  4. Identify safety and insurance matters as related to the salesperson.

  5. Discuss the ethics standards established by the Ohio Division of Real Estate.

Pre-requisites:  RLE 111S, RLE 112S, RLE 113S, RLE 211S, or equivalent, and current, valid Ohio State Real Estate Sales license.
