Edison Women Defeat Nationally Ranked
Sinclair on Couch Night

Our
Lady Chargers upset Sinclair who was ranked
#15 team in the country going into
Wednesday’s contest. After leading 38-36 at
halftime, Edison pulled away in the second
half to secure a 10 point victory. The win
improves our Lady Chargers record to 14-12
overall 8-6 in conference. The women’s next
game will be in two weeks when Edison hosts
the Region XII Basketball Tournament.
The
men however just fell short in their game
with Sinclair 82-78. With less than
2minutes to go Edison scored to take the
lead 74-70, however Sinclair hit some tough
shots down the stretch to pull out the win.
The men dropped to 14-15 overall and 4-10 in
the conference. The men will play their
final regular season game on Saturday when
they host Lorain C.C. @ 3:00pm.
