Coach Mindy Pearson
Coach
Pearson enters her first season as the Chargers Assistant Coach.
Mindy however is no stranger to the Edison Volleyball Program. She
played on Edison’s Inaugural Volleyball Team in 2003 where she was
voted as one of the top players in Region XII.
While Edison’s volleyball
team was dormant for the 2004 and 2005 seasons, Pearson returned to
captain the unforgettable 2006 team that captured the Division III
Region XII and District G Championships. She also helped lead the
team to a national runner-up finish at the 2006 Division III NJCAA
National Championships in Rochester, Minnesota.
Mindy’s passion for the game
and her loyalty to the Edison Volleyball Program will lead her to be
a strong assistant for the Chargers and Coach Snider-Dearth. Her
knowledge of the game as well as her ability to communicate will
help her be a good coach on and off of the volleyball court.
Pearson is currently a
medical assistant at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Sidney. She
resides in Versailles.
