The Adult College Experience
 

The Adult College Experience (ACE) program combines deliberate course scheduling and access to support services in order to enable students to build a community of adult learners.   These individuals complete many of their general education courses while working towards a technical or transfer degree at Edison Community College.  Courses are offered during a convenient time block one night a week to provide students with a flexible schedule to meet their needs.


OVERVIEW:

 


Designed for adults 25 and older
Enables student to work fulltime jobs while completing accelerated coursework
Courses offered Monday evenings in two concentrated time blocks

6 p.m.-7:15 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.-8:45 p.m.

Includes most "general education" courses
Offered as Webflex classes with partial in class work and online assignments
 

Other ACE Services:

Access to designated ACE counselor
Availability of childcare
Access to all campus services
